The song meaning reflects a lot of personality within the artists, when this was written you can tell that personal elements of things they enjoy, places they like etc. Come into this song, this makes it very personal and fun, so the meaning isn't too deep and there is not much figurative being used because a lot of things are upfront and obvious. There is also a lot of elements about sex in this song.

Meaning of ' I Like That'
The lyrics of 'I Like That' creates a very upbeat song, the rhythm is very individual and brings a lot of electrical instruments to bring it into the electronic genre.
What Static Revenger says about ' I Like That'
What was your reaction to the success of I Like That?
"There is no way to reverse-engineer that one… The core of it is Luciana. I think she wrote a phenomenal track with lyrics over what Richard Vission and I had done musically. That track is cool, but let’s be honest, it’s just a friggin’ electro track – it’s Luciana’s singing that makes it great. She’s got a bit of punk-rockstar in her. She’s a real artist with real insight, she has an artist’s brain, she’s not some product." - Static Revenger.
On a previous interview about ' I like that' Static Revenger has explained what he thinks about the single and what brought it success, in this he mentions the thing that he thought was most important which was Luciana's singing, this interview shows that he feels that the sound of the music is important amongst its popularity, this is why I have said that the sound of the music really influences audience responses and how they fee towards the music. It is a fun living song that isn't taken too seriously, this is why we really want to back this up by making a fun video that is not being taken too seriously to make sure it does the concept of the song justice.

Prop List
We will need quite a few props for our music video.
- Big sunglasses
- Bright lipstick
- Diverse, colourful clothing
- A camera
- A tripod
- Jewellry
- Green - Screen
- Drums
Because our group is all girls it makes us have to consider styling more than other groups because it is typical of a pop girl band to have their styling and different factors of styling precise. This makes it relevant to our genre by obeying certain elements.
How we are going to get hold of the props, many of our members already own the things we need such as jewellry and lipstick. Although we may have to buy other factors such as bright clothing, which can be found in retail shops such as Primark, New Look etc.
We can also buy some things like lipsticks, make - up and jewellry from an online source. As well as typical make - up stores such as Boots or Super Drug.
One of our members own a drum set so we will be able to shoot a small part of our video at their house to get the effect.
College will provide us with the camera, tripod and green - screen to be able to do the music video how we would like it.
These types of props relate to Stuart Hall (1980) Theory of encoding/decoding messages. I think our music video will create a negotiated position, which is established when there is a mixture of adaption and opposition to the dominant codes of our music video. This is because our music video is pop/ electro. Pop fans would more than likely expect a slightly simpler music video, but they would expect us to be very considerate of personal image, which you can see by our prop list a lot of thought has gone into our image to be able to pull off the pop image successfully. Although listeners that are more pop fans wouldn't expect the electro element which is a lot of different sounds and electronic sounds, on the other hand people who like listening to electro music may want more electronic elements into the song. So that is why there is a mixture of adaptation because there are different types of music fans addressed in our video.
Location report
Because of our type of music video ( pop electro) and the type of music it is, which is upbeat, original, constantly changing, it is very diverse and to pull of a successful music video that is correctly portraying the type of music our chosen song is, we need to do a lot of different locations and corresponding shots to be able to portray the originality and variable beats and rythms of the music.
This includes:
This includes:
- Green screen. We have chosen to make green screen a valuable and comman location of our music video because it enables us to be very original with backgrounds. Because our video is so diverse and we want it to have a lot of different coloured background, different types of scenery that is not available in any places we can realisticly visit in time for our music video. this will enable us to get the originiality that is displayed within the lyrics and ryhtm of the song onto the big screen which is more likely to give our video success. It fits with our Genre because it is popular within our target audience and popular music which the term " pop music" means, electro element is also being upbeat and always changing, giving excitement which is what electro music shows, especially technology.
- Graffiti wall. We, hopefully will be able to film a part of our music video infront of a wall that has graffiti on. This is because a part of the re - occuring lyric in our song mentions graffiti, so we thought it would be a good idea to have this infront of the wall. It also links in with our target, teenage audience as graffiti is usally associated with youths. We also think this would bring querkyness and originality to our music video and point out how funliving the song is.
- Regular, street areas. We want to do some of our video on the streets, for example down a highstreet with our character wearing original, " weird " clothing, so this enables the video to express originiality within the characters, and a lot of fun and just something different which is what the song is all about, it is not taking things too seriously, so showing a character in outragous, un normal clothing with show the originality that is displayed within the song and to the people the song is trying to address. This fits in with our Genre as its fun and it appeals to the target audience.
- We've had ideas of areas in parks and fields to match different sections of the song and what we think positively goes with the lyrics. We want to do this as well because it is more locations to show originiality and its not just a normal music video you see day - to - day. This fits our music Genre because of the often changing backgrounds, for example the video weve chosen " I Like That" is extremely changable and diverse.
